About this family history

This site tells the story of how our family came to call Daisog home — written as an interactive journal rather than a chronological blog.

It is built as a static-first site: the story is written in Markdown/MDX, rendered as clean HTML that works even without JavaScript, with interactive elements layered on top only where they help you follow the narrative.

Reconstructed scenes are clearly labeled as artist's interpretations and never presented as photographs. Family privacy is respected throughout — private details of living people are not published.

Quiet technology: the framework recedes so the story stays in view.
